About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician or Research Scientist Biocatalysis with a strong background in analytics, chemistry or biochemistry to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in our enzyme discovery and engineering efforts, contributing to the development of biocatalytic processes. You will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate your findings into our product development pipeline. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to biocatalysis projects, focusing on enzyme discovery and/or engineering for biocatalytic reactions.

  • Organize and document while independently running multiple experiments. 

  • Collaborate to integrate experimental data into project reports, SOPs and new development pipelines.

  • Contribute to maintaining a high-quality lab environment that is safe, efficient, and innovative.


Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical chemistry skills - experience with HPLC.

  • Experience with enzyme production and purification.

  • Experience with enzymatic reaction setup and analysis. 

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate complex scientific results.
