About the Role

We are seeking a driven Research Scientist or Senior Scientist with a strong chemistry background and biocatalysis experience to join our dynamic team. Proven expertise in upscaling biocatalytic processes and downstream process optimization is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to biocatalysis projects, focusing on process development and optimization upscaling processes for biocatalytic reactions to enable industrial-scale production.

  • Independently design and execute research projects, ensuring timely delivery of results.

  • Collaborate to integrate experimental and process data into product development pipelines.

  • Analyze and report findings through presentations and technical documentation.

  • Contribute to maintaining a high-quality lab environment that is safe, efficient, and innovative.


Qualifications

  • PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields, with a strong focus on biocatalysis.

  • Industry experience (Senior Scientist level) or a strong research background (Research Scientist level) in biocatalysis and process scaling.

  • Experience with enzyme production, reaction kinetics, and biocatalytic process optimization.

  • Strong analytical chemistry skills, with expertise in techniques like HPLC and GC.

  • Proven experience in upscaling biocatalytic processes from laboratory to industrial scales is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, with the ability to communicate complex scientific results.
